Dear Blu,
You know I love your product, I really do. I think I just need to clear my mind a tad. I know it is not your fault that I had an old operating system that was superduper slow and made it a pain for me to use your amazing template through no fault of your own. I know that it took me awhile to finish my site; I can't exactly hold you responsible for such things....BUT...now that I have requested to go live I WANT TO BE LIVE!!! ;)
I appreciate your prompt response and I am extremely happy to hear that my site is live on your end. Can we just make it live on the net? Pretty please? I am bursting with excitement and I know that I cannot do this on my own. I am totally relying on you. I am okay with that, I did a ton of research and decided that I wanted to be part of the Blu family. I am happy with my decision. It's just that, well, I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve. The suspense is killing me and to be quite honest, okay, really really honest, patience has never been one of my strongest virtues. (I know, true, hard to believe but true.) Surely you understand, right? *smiles* I knew you would!
Your fan and client,
Erica

I did it!
Okay, so I took the plunge! After much review,a bit of carpal tunnel and hours spent working on the new website I requested to GO LIVE this morning! I have added a link to the left that will allow you to find your way back to the new site- BUT- don't click it yet! I am still awaiting confirmation emails from the hosting site so if you click the link before I give the go ahead you will not be able to view the completed site- more like an empty template. *sigh* And that is no fun, now is it? So be patient right along with me! I promise you I am obsessively checking the email waiting anxiously for the go ahead. In the meantime, I have to keep myself busy, creating links, adding posts, blogging and yes, FBing. ;) Maybe now would be the time to start Twittering? We'll see, at this point I think I have enough on my plate with the social networking. :D Have a great day and stay tuned for the launch of the new site!!

New website is coming your way....
Okay, so I have spent the ENTIRE day finishing up the website and I think it is ready to go! I will be requesting to go live either tonight or tomorrow. I am SUPER excited to finally be ready and albeit a tad nervous to make it official- I am a photographer not a webdesigner-but I think it is just a case of silly jitters. I will keep you posted and let you know as soon as the site goes live!

Black and White Silver Gelatin Print- SVdP
Here is another film print I wanted to share with you. I had the opportunity to photograph St. Vincent de Paul Church here in Omaha, NE. This particular church, I feel, is one of the more beautiful churches here in Omaha. I relished the opportunity and downright enjoyed my time spent on the shoot. I titled this particular image "Salvation". Enjoy :)

Again falling behind on the blogging....
Wow! This summer has flown by quicker than any other for me this year! Vacations, classes, kids and clients--I wouldn't have it any other way! Now that school has started again I hope to have more time to blog...we shall see. ;)
Here are some black and white film shots printed on silver gelatin paper. They have been scanned so that I could share them here with you on the blog. I did a project where I was trying self portraiture through reflection and these are a few of the images that I really liked. Enjoy. :)
