My Nephew - Omaha Professional Photographer

My little nephew is so stinkin' cute!  He is the happiest baby- ever....except towards the end of his photo session.  He was a tad tired of being a ham for the camera.  I started editing this session from the end; I'm working my way towards the beginning.  Don't ask me why.  I guess it was opposites day. *grins*  Anyway, you may remember this little guy from this post or even this one.  He's gotten so big so fast; I relish the opportunity every time I have a chance to photograph him.  Here he is letting me know that it was a wrap!

I'll be sure to share more later. :)

Studio Portraiture - Sara in Studio - Omaha Professional Photographer

My sister came for a visit solely to have me photograph her.  I was happy to do it!  Sara and I always have a great time together and I figured it was a win either way for me.  I got to spend time with one of my favorite people in the world while doing one of my favorite things.  You view the black and white images by clicking here.

Kicking It 1940s Starlet Style in Studio - Omaha Professional Photographer

Earlier this month I photographed Lynette in studio with a 1940's twist.  Today I thought I would share some of the fun ones with you. :)

We had such a FUN time.  This is probably one of my favorite sessions to date.  Lynette really embodied softness and femininity throughout the session and I fell in love with the frames!  It really makes me want to explore this a bit more. I think I might be inspired to do a personal project.  You can view more of Lynette's lovely images here

Early Evening Session - Omaha Professional Photographer

I thought I would share an image or two from a super fun session I had with a great couple.  They took advantage of the Limited Edition Mini-Session and scheduled their time slot for the very end of the day.  We rocked it out!  I could have photographed these two all day long. :D

A Front Porch Mini-Session

So the other day on my 365 blog I wrote about Becca needing a 'recent picture' .  I mentioned on my facebook fan page that I had a quick mini-session with Becca to get a photograph of her that day to send in to her new highschool. (Because of course, you can't get much more recent than the present and because I'm a sucker for a photo op). :)  Anyway, as promised here are a few of the images from that day.  You can view some color photographs from this session by visiting the fanpage or clicking here.  Now all I have to do is choose which one I want to send in .....

Little Artists

The girls were into the paint today creating masterpieces. Lela is on me to frame and hang her work.  I need to buy a matte cutter.  She has recently been selling her paintings for $1- $3 dollars.  Becca, in these photos, had been recruited by Lela to clean her brushes while she painted.  What else are big sisters for?

Of course, silliness always ensues in whatever project Lela is involved in- she is SO her father's daughter. :)

Becca doing her designated 'job'.  I love it when my girls enjoy time with each other.

They had so much fun this afternoon.  The table has now been cleared off, paint and brushes put away and canvases - 4 to be exact- are drying on the counter.  The girls have moved onto their next project- avidly watching a movie downstairs munching on popcorn.  Wonder what their next adventure will be?  Visit my facebook fanpage by clicking on the link to the left or by clicking here to see more of their painting adventure.

Black and White Headshots {Omaha Professional Photographers}

I absolutely adored this session.  The model was fun to work with and I was able to shoot at a new location which I fell in love with on the spot!  I cannot wait for the weather to turn nice to get out there and do some lovely outdoor shoots. Gorgeous!  These images were done inside with natural light.  Don't you think she's super photogenic?  Her eyes just pull you into the photographs!

Portrait Session {Omaha Professional Photographer}

You may remember this model from this blogpost in November 2009.  I had the opportunity to photograph her again!  This time, Lynette asked for a session because it was time for her to have some nice portraits for herself; no modeling corsets in this shoot. :)  Here are just a couple of my favorites.  I do believe I am jealous of her flawless complexion...doesn't she have the greatest skin??

 Did you see those greeeeeen eyes?!

I heart this one.

I will be sharing some more of Lynette's session on my facebook fanpage soon so if you're not a fan, what are you waiting for?--sign up today and follow me on facebook to see more of this shoot and others!
